Old Nice
The tourist heart of the city, Old Nice offers a true summary of the sweetness of life on the Riviera. Lulled in the morning by the joyful bustle of the Cours Saleya market, in the evening it offers a more festive atmosphere thanks to the numerous restaurants and cafés it houses. As you stroll through its narrow streets, you will undoubtedly be impressed by the harmony of its architecture and its facades which alternate beautiful yellow and red colors. You will be won over by the pleasant scents of the numerous artisanal food stores, by the abundance of artists' studios and by the variety of boutiques ideal for shopping.
Very close to the hotel, the Old Nice district also offers you a pleasant walk to discover the historical heritage of the city. Start your visit with the Cours Saleya which hosts, in a sumptuous baroque decor, one of the most picturesque markets in France. Right next door, admire the Opera, the plans of which were validated by Charles Garnier and which has been classified as a Historic Monument since 1992. Then head to the Bellanda Tower and the Château hill which offer superb views of Nice and its surroundings.
